My story

I am Chef Anastacia owner & creator of all things here at Haus Of Fusion. Dang , that feels good to say. It has been quite the journey leading up to this point but I am beyond thankful for all my experiences good & bad because it was all leading up to this. I grew up in Nor Cal until I was 12 and then my family moved to the Big Island of Hawaii. I lived there for 7 years. I have since then spent the rest of my time here on the beautiful island of Oahu. I am so thankful to call Hawaii my HOME, I have such a deep love for the islands. I have been a Chef now for over 10 years. Up until 2020 I was working in restaurants or for other peoples businesses. The pandemic hit and I had to become full time stay at home momma & teacher for our daughter Miamor, who was in kindergarten at the time. My husband Christopher inspired me and motivated me (he’s been my biggest cheerleader and fan through this process) to start something even if its just from home. So I dove into it full force and started off with a pop up from my house selling Birria Tacos in Sept 2020. I sold to friends and friends of friends through Instagram of all places. People responded to it and where contacting me left and right asking when I was selling food again, people I didn’t even know. So I took that as my sign from the Lord & The Universe that this was my time to create the business of my dreams. I went all in and built everything from the ground up all while also being full time momma, teacher, wife & home maker. One thing led to another I started doing more pop ups from my home, getting amazing Private Chef opportunities and so much more. It has been such a beautiful journey building Haus Of Fusion all of the pain, hard work, a little blood, lots of sweat and tears is worth it all. It is such an incredible and rewarding feeling being able to share my love, passion, & holistic knowledge for food with the world. I grew up with a long line of unexplainable health issues, which is what inspired my career as a Chef. Food truly is medicine, but that doesn’t mean it has to taste like medicine or be boring. The hollistic side of food is something I have studied for as long as I can remember and has truly done wonders for my body allowing me control of my own body. Always learning & expanding my knowledge of all things culinary and nature. As a chef and nature lover having the freshest and highest quality ingredients is very important to me. I like to think of my food from where it is sourced & how it is cooked Intentional, Mindful, & Intuitive. Living in Hawaii there are so many incredible culinary delights the islands provide from Mauka (Mountain) to Makai (sea). Foraging the land (fishing & hiking) is something I love to do to see what I can create just off what the nature around me provides. I have a philosophy of BALANCE - a balance of proper nutrition, old techniques & new ones, heritages, textures, flavors, colors & of passion & skill.

Besides being a Chef on my free time I love to be with my FAMILY. My husband Christopher, our daughter Miamor, newest addition our son Adonis & our dog Loki. They are my whole world. I love to be together with my family, friends, & animals in nature ( I like to keep a small close circle). Quality over Quantity in all aspects of life please. We love to do anything that involves nature - hiking, fishing, beach, traveling and of course good food. Kundalini, breath work, meditation, dancing, arts & crafts are a few other things i’m quite fond of. Simple, Sweet & beautiful life filled with gratitude.

As of 2024 my career has taken me to many incredible places, and have worked for amazing people (even quite a few celebrities). I started cooking for retreats and fell in love with them and I have decided to host my very first retreat. I am so excited to create a safe & sacred space to embrace, love, heal, learn, grow, & nourish.
